About The Position

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for all accounting, budgetary, and financial planning activities within the hospital organization. The role involves strategic planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle oversight, while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and supporting organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from an accredited institution or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of progressive supervisory experience in a healthcare institution.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, accounting principles, and reimbursement systems.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
• Effective team management, cross-department collaboration, and clear communication with executive leadership.
• Understanding of federal, state, and private insurance regulations, as well as healthcare organization compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with financial software, electronic health records, and revenue cycle management systems.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public.
• Ability to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when directions are not provided.
• Emotional maturity and ability to function effectively under stress.
