About The Position

Encompass Health is seeking a Hospital Chief Executive Officer to lead one of its hospitals and provide leadership for seamless operations and financial stability. The role involves overseeing hospital performance, supporting the organization's mission, and helping the hospital and its staff meet objectives in a welcoming, inclusive healthcare environment. The CEO also takes responsibility for patient census and participates in marketing services within the community.

The CEO ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations, Governing Board and Medical Staff policies and procedures, and Joint Commission standards. The position promotes an inclusive workplace and patient environment, and motivates staff while recognizing team achievements.

Requirements

• Five years of management experience in the healthcare industry, including a minimum of 2–3 years in a senior management position.
• A master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related healthcare field is preferred. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree with work experience equivalent to a master's degree may qualify, demonstrated through responsibilities such as hospital operations, budget development and oversight, marketing for volume growth and program development, FTE management, expense control, policy and procedure development and implementation, and regulatory-compliance process development.
• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts.
• May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days or shifts.
