This posting is for an applicant pool for affiliate faculty in Chicana/o Studies. Screening of applicants will occur when positions become available. These are temporary, part-time, non-tenure track academic positions, and the number varies by semester based on program needs. Not all applicants will be contacted or selected to teach. Metropolitan State University (MSU Denver), established in 1965, serves over 16,000 diverse students, many of whom are underrepresented, first-generation, and from multicultural backgrounds. As a Hispanic-Serving Institution (gHSI) and the only Seal of Excelencia certified institution in Colorado, MSU Denver offers affordable, flexible, and holistic education. The Department of Chicana/o Studies is seeking part-time affiliate faculty to teach courses such as CHS1000 Introduction to Chicano Studies and other lower and upper division courses. Courses can be delivered in-person, online, or in hybrid formats.
