This position operates an autoclave on a 1st shift off-work week schedule, working 36 hours and getting paid for 40. The operator is responsible for identifying, loading, and scanning batches, as well as loading and unloading parts in autoclave baskets using specific orientation, a crane, and a torque wrench. The role involves starting, draining, and stopping autoclave vessels, responding to alarms per SOP, and placing baskets in a holding tank for washout personnel. The operator will also assist with timely turnarounds, verify parts against paperwork, maintain autoclave traceability, record information in Lot Control, and comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Other duties as assigned by supervision are also part of the role.
