About The Position

Under direct supervision, level one Chemline Operators perform a variety of support functions for the chemline processing department. This includes racking, un-racking, and cleaning of production aerospace parts. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adherence to organization safety rules and regulations. Level one Chemline Operators will also be performing verifications to ensure that all traces of organic soils, fingerprints, dirt, and dust are removed using solvent cleaners.

Requirements

  • Read and write English.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • 0-1 Years of Experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain job assignments from supervisor or manager.
  • Work safely in accordance with plant safety guidelines including cardinal rules of safety.
  • Correctly interpret work orders.
  • Review Technique Cards and paperwork.
  • Monitor milling operations; calculate etch rate and modified bath times accordingly.
  • Complete logs and records, including measurements, calculations, chemical additions, and milling times.
  • Meet all production and quality standards.
  • Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform daily housekeeping / 6S activities as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
