About The Position

This position is a 1.0 FTE located at the Grace Hopper Center (Program 2 - Arlington Tech) for SY27. The role involves implementing instructional programs, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, communicating with parents, maintaining student records, collaborating with various stakeholders, and monitoring student achievement. The teacher is also expected to attend ongoing professional learning and meetings.

Requirements

Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure
Chemistry certification
Teaching experience in the above mentioned area
Knowledge of best instructional practices
Ability to integrate technology
Experience in educational and instructional leadership

Nice To Haves

Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area
Bilingual skills

Responsibilities
