About The Position
Performs breast imaging (screenings and diagnostics) in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. This role is part of the Allied health field, which is among the fastest growing occupations in healthcare today. These professionals perform supportive, diagnostic, and therapeutic health care services to promote health and prevent disease in a variety of settings. Requirements
- 1 Year of Mammography experience.
- LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Graduate of an approved discipline specific program

Responsibilities
- Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging.
- Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
- Provides appropriate Mammography screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
- Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
