About The Position

A Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic breast imaging procedures using specialized mammography equipment to assist in the detection of breast cancer and other abnormalities. This role involves preparing and positioning patients, ensuring high-quality imaging, maintaining accurate patient records, and adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Graduation from an approved Radiology program
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Mammography
Licensed by the State of Arkansas in Radiology
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic breast images.
Screen and diagnostic mammograms that are ordered by Physicians.
Greet and prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering questions.
Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the exam.
Ensure all required consent forms and paperwork are completed.
Perform other duties as needed.
