About The Position
The teacher is a qualified professional educator. Candidate should: Have an academic background in their area of study. Demonstrate curriculum knowledge and the ability to follow standards based instruction in a resourceful manner, to plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities and activities for maximum effectiveness. Be proficient in the daily use and integration of technology in the educational environment. Stay abreast of current research and educational best practices by evidence of pursuing continual professional development. Be a skilled communicator and have the ability to work effectively with students, parents, peers, administrators and other. Have the ability to assess levels of student achievement, analyze test results and deliver instruction to varied learners. Complete other tasks as assigned by administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in related field
- Valid Florida teacher certification in the subject area or eligibility to be certified
- Employment is contingent on the applicant passing a full background check
