About The Position
The Chemistry Expert helps fine-tune large language models using chemistry expertise. The work includes designing problems to test AI performance, developing rigorous step-by-step solutions, evaluating AI responses, and collaborating with researchers to improve benchmarks across undergraduate- to PhD-level chemistry topics. The role is a remote contract with defined start and end dates, offers flexible weekly hours up to 40 hours per week, and pays $100+ per hour depending on the role and candidate expertise. Shortlisted candidates complete an evaluation before selection. No prior AI experience is required.
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Strong chemistry reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced domains.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and provide structured feedback.
Responsibilities
