Requirements

  • Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery (Mandatory)
  • Can be highly organised & fast paced
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Basic understanding of OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance

Nice To Haves

  • An understanding of Café style food advantageous
  • Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable

Responsibilities

  • Food preparation and cooking
  • Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
  • Friendly customer service
  • Function work and large volume cooking
  • Stock take and control
  • HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
  • General kitchen and cleaning duties as required.
