About The Position

Eurest is seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead the culinary and food service operation in Naperville, Illinois. The role includes full culinary management of the operation, including inventory, ordering, and receiving. The Chef Manager will support quality food service, menu development, cost control, purchasing, and the sourcing and use of local food products, while bringing a passion for sustainability. Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service is desirable. The position is offered at a salary of $70,000–$75,000.

Requirements

Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or a restaurant, including inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
Working knowledge of HACCP.
Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Experience with exposition cooking.
A passion for sustainability.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience.
ServSafe certification.
