About The Position

Sticky Fingers Cooking is seeking enthusiastic part-time Chef Instructors in the Boulder area to teach kids about cooking, nutrition, and healthy eating habits. This role offers a flexible, part-time schedule with classes held weekdays from 2-5 PM. The company provides all necessary tools, training, and recipes, fostering a fun and supportive team environment. Instructors will lead hands-on classes for children aged 3-18, sparking creativity and confidence in the kitchen.

Requirements

• Available to teach at least 2 days a week between 2-5 PM, Mondays-Thursdays.
• Experienced in working with kids of various ages and backgrounds.
• Punctual, reliable, and comfortable managing groups of 8-14 kids.
• Must arrive on campus 20-30 minutes prior to scheduled class time.
• Able to commit to teaching sessions that run 4-12 weeks.
• Willing to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs to store and transport materials.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to drive.
• Undergo a fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on cooking classes, teaching children how to chop, mix, measure, and create healthy recipes.
• Introduce children to new ingredients, cuisines, and cultures in an engaging, interactive way.
• Prepare for classes using provided curricula, shop for fresh ingredients, and set up safe kitchen environments.
• Inspire and encourage children as they gain confidence in the kitchen.
• Travel to different schools to conduct classes.
• Teach essential cooking skills, food safety, and the history and culture behind each dish.
