About The Position

Sticky Fingers Cooking is seeking enthusiastic part-time Chef Instructors in the North Boulder area to teach kids about cooking, nutrition, and healthy eating habits. This role involves leading hands-on cooking classes, sparking creativity with new ingredients and cuisines, preparing for classes using provided curricula, shopping for ingredients, and setting up safe kitchen environments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking, have experience working with children, and be looking for a fun, flexible, and meaningful part-time job. Classes are held weekdays from 2-5 PM, and instructors will travel to different schools to deliver the "kitchen" experience to kids.

Requirements

• Available to teach at least 2 days a week between 2-5 PM, Mondays-Thursdays.
• Experienced in working with kids of various ages and backgrounds.
• Punctual, reliable, and comfortable managing groups of 8-14 kids.
• Must arrive on campus 20-30 minutes prior to scheduled class time.
• Able to commit to teaching sessions that run 4-12 weeks.
• Willing to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs to store and transport materials.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to drive.
• Must undergo a fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities
