About The Position

Fairway Pines, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, is hiring a Cook/Chef to help enrich residents’ lives. The position is responsible for preparing food according to resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. The listed part-time schedule includes shifts from 11:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. every other weekend and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. The wage range is $17.50–$22.50.

Requirements

• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and meals according to planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature-control procedures.
• Direct and assist with cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check trays for menu and diet requirements, preferences, and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed according to established procedures.
