About The Position

Lead after-school cheerleading classes for K–6th grade students at elementary schools across Fairfax County and Northern Virginia. The role involves running energetic sessions focused on fun, teamwork, and skill-building, while creating a positive experience for children. Instructors lead their own classes, manage an equipment bag, and ensure each child is safely dismissed. Curriculum and training are provided.

Requirements

• Experience working with children, such as through coaching, teaching, camps, or recreation programs.
• Basic cheer knowledge; curriculum and training are provided.
• Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Must pass a background check and fingerprinting.
• Reliable transportation to school sites; having a personal vehicle is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Own vehicle for transportation to school sites.
• Returning, experienced coaches may qualify for pay up to $30 per hour.

Responsibilities
