Cheer and Gymnastics Instructor
About The Position
The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking Cheer/Gymnastics Instructors for its recreational cheer and gymnastics program serving preschool- and school-aged children. Instructors teach morning classes and should be energetic, enthusiastic, dependable, and enjoy working with children. Prior experience teaching gymnastics, tumbling, or cheerleading is preferred but not required. The YMCA offers training and pay, along with a $260 bonus for new staff. It provides school-age child care and health and fitness programs to more than 45,000 members, from preschoolers through senior citizens. Nice To Haves
- Preferred background in gymnastics and/or cheerleading.
Responsibilities
- Assist the director with class routines and attendance tracking.
- Assist the director in providing coaching and leadership to participants.
- Assist the director with communication with families.
