About The Position

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and dependable After-School Cheer & Dance Instructors to lead exciting cheerleading and dance enrichment programs for elementary-aged students throughout Tampa and Hillsborough County. This is a part-time, after-school position working Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, leading 1.5-hour sessions. The role offers a flexible schedule, no weekends, and no lesson planning required as curriculum, music, and equipment are provided. It's a rewarding opportunity to inspire children, build confidence and teamwork, and gain leadership and classroom management skills in a fun, energetic, and supportive environment. Requirements

Experience working with children is a plus
Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
Reliable transportation to schools throughout Tampa and Hillsborough County
Dependable and punctual
Must successfully complete the required school district background check and fingerprinting process

Nice To Haves

Cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or coaching experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Lead engaging cheer and dance classes for elementary students
Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
Teach age-appropriate cheer motions, basic dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, and teamwork
Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
Encourage confidence, creativity, and positive sportsmanship
Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
