About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced After-School Jazz Dance Instructor to lead engaging jazz dance classes for students in grades K-3. The instructor will be responsible for teaching fundamental jazz dance techniques and fostering a love for dance in a fun and supportive environment. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 2:10 PM to 3:10 PM at a site in Falls Church, VA.

Requirements

• Experience in teaching jazz dance.
• Ability to work with elementary school-aged children (K-3rd grade).
• Knowledge of jazz dance fundamentals.
• Patience and enthusiasm for teaching.
• Reliable transportation to the Falls Church, VA site.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in other dance forms.
• Background in child development or education.
• First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach jazz dance techniques to students in grades K-3.
• Develop and implement lesson plans for weekly classes.
