About The Position

The Chargeback Analyst is responsible for the operational execution of assigned GSK wholesaler, distributor, and vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and timely chargeback processing within a highly complex environment characterized by significant financial exposure and regulatory compliance risk. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of contractual payment obligations, where precision and timeliness directly impact ongoing business operations and the accuracy of financial and government reporting. Adherence to GSK policies and best practices is essential to ensure compliant, controlled, and efficient chargeback payment processes while proactively mitigating downstream financial and compliance risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in chargebacks and purchase based contracts (i.e., GPO, Federal, PHS, Physician Buying Group, Retail) preferably in a complex and fast paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Execute complex, judgment-driven daily chargeback payment activities with full accountability for end-to-end account management and achievement of performance metrics.
  • Perform detailed validation of submitted chargeback transactions against sales data, system applications, and supporting documentation, while aggregating data to identify trends, variances, and account-level operational insights.
  • Resolve discrepancies in real time, leveraging cross-functional influence and system expertise to drive data integrity and performance improvements.
  • Apply advanced critical thinking, analytical expertise, and business acumen to resolve issues, enabling accurate outcomes and sustained operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate strategic account ownership through advanced data interpretation and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key operational control point, proactively reducing downstream financial and compliance risk across audit, government pricing, rebates, administrative fees, Gross-to-Net, and Accounts Receivable (Order-to-Cash) processes.
  • Leverage expert knowledge of processes and system capabilities to identify and advance system-driven improvements, including the application of Artificial Intelligence.
  • Manage product lifecycle events across Pharma/Vaccines and ViiV portfolios, including launches, discontinuations, divestitures, and acquisitions, ensuring seamless operational execution.
