About The Position

This full-time Charge RN position serves the Ortho Trauma unit, 5 North, on a 12-hour night shift. The licensed Registered Nurse plans and provides professional nursing services and standards of practice in accordance with their experience and education, the state board of nursing, and established policies and procedures. The RN integrates clinical nursing practice, leadership, and knowledge while delivering relationship-centered, compassionate, ethical, and respectful direct and indirect healthcare services.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification for units with telemetry monitoring.
• Complete Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
