About The Position

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Charge Registered Nurse (RN) – Main Operating Room to join Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, California. This full-time day-shift leadership opportunity is designed for a perioperative nursing professional who combines strong clinical expertise with the ability to lead, support, and coordinate a high-performing surgical team. As Charge RN, you will serve as both a clinical resource and frontline leader, helping coordinate daily nursing activities, support patient flow, and maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout surgical services. This position offers a competitive salary of $147,000 – $202,000 annually and provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced perioperative RN to take on greater leadership responsibility while remaining closely connected to patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license upon hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership and support nursing teams.
  • Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Professional RN leadership experience.
  • At least two (2) years of recent Perianesthesia RN experience.
  • Active California Registered Nurse license.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Ability to work a full-time day-shift schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Charge RN, nursing leadership, supervisory, or team-lead experience.
  • Experience within perioperative, surgical, or acute-care nursing environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and other members of the surgical team.
