About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a full-time Charge Registered Nurse to coordinate the delivery of nursing care. In collaboration with Nursing Leadership, the Charge Nurse provides leadership alongside medical, ancillary, and support staff to maintain nursing practice standards in the clinical setting. The role serves as a clinical and leadership resource and a role model for staff. The position is listed as a day shift role at St. Luke's Rehab. Requirements
- RN license in the state where applying.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification is required from day one for all Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU roles; the posting also says ACLS is preferred initially and required after 90 days, and offers help obtaining it.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Greater comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and similar equipment.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.
