About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources presents an outstanding opportunity for a Charge Nurse to work in our Primary Care Unit at Fairfax Ambulatory Care Clinic in Fairfax, VA. This role is perfect for Registered Nurses with at least 2 years of experience, providing a platform to hone nursing skills. The position focuses on ensuring the well-being of patients in an outpatient environment. Cross-training will be provided to work as a triage nurse, clinical coordinator, and case manager RN. The role involves assessing health care needs for family members of active duty and retired military members of all ages, triaging patients to determine the nature and urgency of health problems, evaluating patients, directing them to the appropriate level of care, and providing pertinent patient education.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university; and/or graduate of an accredited National League of Nursing (NLN) School
• 2 years acute care RN experience required
• Active valid and current RN License in Virginia
• Maintain BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross

Nice To Haves

• Prior RESPECT-Mil or care facilitation work experience preferred, not required
• Advice nursing, nurse educator, and/or telephonic experience preferred
