About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources presents an outstanding opportunity for a Charge Nurse to work in our Primary Care Unit at Fairfax Ambulatory Care Clinic in Fairfax, VA. This role is perfect for Registered Nurses with at least 2 years of experience, providing a platform to hone nursing skills in a high-level, state-of-the-art clinical setting focused on compassionate, safe, and effective behavioral healthcare treatment. The position offers an excellent work/life balance in a vibrant community, with cross-training provided for triage nurse, clinical coordinator, and case manager RN roles. Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university; and/or graduate of an accredited National League of Nursing (NLN) School
• 2 years acute care RN experience required
• Active valid and current RN License in Virginia
• Maintain BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross

Nice To Haves

• Prior RESPECT-Mil or care facilitation work experience preferred, not required
• Advice nursing, nurse educator, and/or telephonic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Cross-training provided to work as a triage nurse, clinical coordinator, and case manager RN.
• Assesses health care needs for family members of active duty and retired military members of all ages.
• Triage patients, eliciting needed information to determine the nature and urgency of health problems.
• Evaluated patients, directs patients to the appropriate level of care and provides pertinent patient education.
