About The Position
Cura of Sauk Centre is seeking a Charge Nurse (LPN) for its overnight shift. The nurse provides essential nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians, helping ensure patients receive safe, effective, and personalized care. The role includes monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support patient health, comfort, and well-being. Shifts are 12 hours, with every third weekend and holidays included in the rotation. The posting offers a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 for full-time employees or $750 for part-time employees, and an hourly rate of $27.75–$40, with shift differentials of $3 for evening shifts and $4 for NOC shifts.
Requirements
- Hold a valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Complete an accredited nursing program.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Be able to work under supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Be flexible to work 12-hour shifts, every third weekend, and holidays as part of the rotation.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Strong knowledge of nursing care practices, medication administration, and patient safety protocols is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering injections, and managing wound care.
- Assist with patient assessments and promptly report changes in patient status to Registered Nurses or physicians.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Document nursing care and patient information accurately and promptly.
- Support patients with activities of daily living and help ensure their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with infection control standards and healthcare regulations.
