About The Position

Cura of Melrose is seeking a Charge Nurse (LPN) for its overnight shift. The role provides nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians, helping ensure patients receive safe, effective, personalized care. The Charge Nurse monitors patient conditions, administers medications and treatments, and works with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient health, comfort, and well-being. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts and every third weekend, with holidays as part of the rotation.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Complete an accredited nursing program.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Be able to work under supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Be flexible to work 12-hour shifts, every third weekend, and holidays as part of the rotation.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.

• Strong knowledge of nursing care practices, medication administration, and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering injections, and managing wound care.
• Assist with patient assessments and promptly report changes in patient status to Registered Nurses or physicians.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Document nursing care and patient information accurately and promptly.
• Support patients with activities of daily living and promote their comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with infection control standards and healthcare regulations.
