About The Position
Assists the Lab Director/Lab Manager in managing the division and serves as a resource person for problem solving. Primary duties include teaching and training, communication, testing, research and development, and quality control. The role requires in-depth technological knowledge in a specialty area.
Requirements
- Three years of clinical laboratory experience.
- Medical Laboratory Scientist certification by an appropriate laboratory agency.
- Either a bachelor's degree in biological science or chemistry and Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT/MLT) certification, or an associate’s degree and Medical Laboratory Technician certification.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification is strongly encouraged.
