Charge Integrity Coordinator - Full Time (40 hours/week)
About The Position
The Charge Integrity Coordinator reports to the Revenue Cycle Manager and is responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance of the hospital and professional charge master. The role oversees proper charge capture, reimbursement principles, and charge documentation practices to support accurate and complete revenue capture in collaboration with all departments. The coordinator ensures charges interface into the system and links charges and services to the clinical build. The position supports Revenue Cycle Operations with charge reconciliation reports and internal and external audits, and serves as the subject matter expert on CDM structure, CPT, HCPCS, revenue codes, and state and payer regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of Revenue Cycle experience.
- Knowledge of insurance billing, CPT, HCPCS and revenue codes, and charge capture audit.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Finance.
- Medical Coding or Billing certification (CPC or CCS).
- Previous work experience in a clinical and/or IT setting.
