About The Position

EXP is seeking a senior engineer to join its dynamic and engaged team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to large-scale multidisciplinary projects across Quebec. As a project manager, you will work from one of our offices, according to your preference and location. You will leverage your expertise to lead the design and/or supervision of road engineering projects (roads and highways), while ensuring rigorous management of quality, budgets, and deadlines. Finally, through your professional relationships, you will contribute to business development, particularly with the Quebec Ministry of Transportation. To adequately fulfill your duties, you must be a dynamic person recognized in the transportation field, in addition to enjoying teamwork and possessing excellent social skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 15 years or more of relevant experience in consulting engineering
  • Structured and specific knowledge in transport projects
  • Knowledge of BNQ, CCDG, and the practices of the Ministry of Transportation
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Strategic mindset, capable of promoting EXP with its partners and clients
  • Good analytical skills, leadership, and excellent communication skills
  • Ease of working in a network and managing work teams
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a car for travel

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in business development through your network and credibility in the field.
  • Manage relationships with clients and partners, including the Quebec Ministry of Transportation.
  • Prepare professional service offers.
  • Lead road transport projects, from planning to execution.
  • Supervise technical teams and ensure interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Manage budgets and resources allocated to each mandate.
  • Ensure the administrative management of projects and assume responsibility (invoicing, collection, contract management, etc.).
  • Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications.
  • Write technical and expert reports.
  • Act as a technical reference.
  • Supervise deliverables (reports, plans, specifications, estimates, schedules).
  • Estimate work costs and monitor projects.
  • Supervise site monitoring, according to your interest.
  • Contribute to a stimulating work environment.
  • Any other task related to the job.
