We are looking for a project manager in environmental and social impact studies to join our team of experts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, geography, urban planning, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management.
  • Good knowledge of Quebec's environmental laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a consulting firm (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Direct the activities of the project for which you are responsible, under the supervision of project management.
  • Coordinate the work required for the preparation of environmental impact studies in the field of renewable energies (wind, solar, and hydroelectricity).
  • Participate in mandates related to fish habitat, restoration of wetlands, development or conservation plans.
  • Ensure the planning of work and follow-up of mandates (schedules and budgets).
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, ministerial authorities, and project stakeholders.
  • Participate in the process of applying for environmental permits and certificates of authorization.
  • Provide technical and regulatory expertise on environmental issues.
  • Participate in the development of new tools and services offered by the company.
