Requirements

  • Holds a college diploma (DEC) or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or another relevant field.
  • Has five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in IT project management or in a similar role.
  • Is recognized for strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical abilities and critical thinking with a solution-oriented and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Has experience using project planning and tracking tools.
  • Has an excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Has a working knowledge of French, both spoken and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
  • One or more of the following certifications: PMI-ACP Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) or higher SAFe® RTE or PMP

Responsibilities

  • Lead all project management activities for assigned mandates, including initiatives tied to corporate strategic objectives and major, high-visibility deliveries.
  • Manage complex projects requiring strong leadership, influence, and political acumen.
  • Contribute to the organization and coordination of delivery teams to achieve objectives and maintain focus on high business value priorities.
  • Manage service agreements with external suppliers when required.
  • Adapt delivery approaches to multimodal environments, including Agile, Lean-Agile transformations, and more traditional delivery models.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate planning, follow-up, and feedback activities involving multiple levels of management, sectors, sites, suppliers, and internal and external resources.
  • Apply IT Portfolio Management Office (aPMO) standards and promote Centres of Excellence (CoE) practices to internal partners, managers, and scrum masters.
  • Proactively identify, anticipate, and manage risks, issues, and obstacles impacting delivery and develop action plans to support implementation.
  • Produce clear, transparent, and regular progress reports covering assumptions, delivered value, timelines, costs, quality, risks, challenges, and benefits realization.
  • Develop resource and cost estimates, including the contribution of subject-matter experts and change management resources when required.
  • Work closely and maintain strong daily communication with internal partners, managers, scrum masters, performance analysts, and IT portfolio managers.
  • Provide leadership to mobilize large or multiple teams around a shared vision and common objectives.
