About The Position

This position is for per diem only. This posting is for a per diem/on call position at Providence Regional Medical Center. The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, polices, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility in which they serve. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or the equivalent applicable education from an accredited institution or equivalent education/experience.
  • Four clinical pastoral education units.
  • National Chaplain Certification (within 3 years of hire).
