About The Position

Provides spiritual, emotional, and relational care to patients, their family members, and organizational staff at UCHealth Greeley Hospital. This is an onsite PRN position in the GH Pastoral Care department, with a flex shift and 0.00 scheduled hours per two-week pay period. The role includes spiritual visitation, worship and outreach services, assessment of spiritual, emotional, and cultural needs, and participation in interdisciplinary care. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree.
Satisfactory completion of 1 unit of Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) CPE.
Relevant spiritual care experience.

Responsibilities

Perform spiritual visitation, public worship services, and outreach services.
Assess and respond to the spiritual, emotional, and cultural needs of people receiving care, including crisis intervention, ethical concerns, and bereavement.
Participate in an interdisciplinary approach to spiritual care and patient health.
Document visits and interventions according to healthcare organization standards.
Use critical thinking and decisive judgment, work with minimal supervision, and take appropriate action in a fast-paced environment.
