About The Position

The Channel Marketing Manager develops and executes channel-specific strategies that drive demand, customer engagement, and commercial growth across Kerry Foodservice Brands. This role connects Brand Marketing and Sales by translating brand priorities into customer-ready programs, sales tools, channel activations, trade show strategies, and marketing initiatives across key foodservice channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Channel Marketing, Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sales Enablement, Foodservice, Beverage, or CPG.
  • Strong understanding of foodservice distribution, distributor marketing, operator needs, customer activation, selling tools, and channel merchandising.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, brokers, distributors, customer marketing teams, and cross-functional marketing groups.
  • Strong project management, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate insights, data, performance reporting, customer feedback, and market trends into strategies and recommendations.
  • Self-directed, proactive, accountable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing shifting priorities and ambiguity.
  • Availability to travel up to 30%.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in foodservice, beverage, specialty coffee, restaurant, distributor, non-commercial, or eCommerce channels.
  • Experience building customer presentations, sales toolkits, POS, merchandising programs, launch assets, and trade show materials.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement platforms, content management tools, digital marketing, and marketing technology platforms.
  • Experience supporting broadline distributors, chain operators, regional accounts, cash & carry, C&U, healthcare, and independent operator channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual channel marketing strategies aligned to business objectives, portfolio priorities, and AOP plans.
  • Identify growth opportunities across broadline, chain, regional, independent, non-commercial, C&U, cash & carry, eCommerce, and emerging channels.
  • Translate customer, operator, consumer, and market insights into actionable channel plans, selling stories, and activation presentations.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to prioritize investments and optimize growth opportunities.
  • Lead customer-specific marketing programs, new product launch activations, seasonal promotions, distributor initiatives, and operator conversion programs.
  • Build annual channel activation calendars aligned to innovation launches, seasonal selling opportunities, customer priorities, and commercial focus areas.
  • Collaborate with key partners to grow brand visibility, merchandising, menu penetration, and portfolio growth.
  • Represent Foodservice Brands in customer engagements, distributor meetings, sales planning, and partner discussions.
  • Develop customer presentations, POS, sales toolkits, merchandising solutions, promotional assets, and customer-ready materials.
  • Ensure channel materials align with brand positioning, portfolio priorities, campaign messaging, and Kerry standards.
  • Optimize enablement resources based on field feedback, customer needs, usage, and performance.
  • Lead trade show activation strategy, planning, execution, and post-event analysis.
  • Manage booth strategy, messaging, product focus, promotional materials, customer engagement, lead generation, and follow-up.
  • Partner cross-functionally to maximize event impact and ROI.
  • Represent Kerry Foodservice Brands at trade shows, customer events, distributor meetings, and industry activations.
