About The Position

The Channel Distribution Auditor will be responsible for auditing reservations transmitted between TARS, Opera, OTA, and GDS platforms. This role involves validating booking data integrity, rates, inventory, room type mapping, and reservation accuracy. The auditor will monitor rate and promotion parity across all distribution channels, investigate and resolve booking failures, interface errors, and transmission exceptions. Additionally, the position requires reviewing and reconciling travel agent commissions and loyalty-related reservations, managing Global Distribution Systems (GDS), negotiated rates, agency profiles, and RFP activity. Auditing deposits, billing arrangements, cancellations, and modification transactions are also key responsibilities. The role involves monitoring channel performance, booking production, and revenue trends, as well as identifying and resolving orphaned or migrated reservations. Oversight of inventory distribution and allocation accuracy to maximize revenue opportunities is crucial. The auditor will also perform manual guest check-outs via VCC platforms and review loyalty member stay activity, rates, and posting accuracy, while investigating and resolving loyalty account discrepancies. Ensuring compliance with TARS, OTA, GDS, and distribution agreement requirements is essential, along with monitoring guest feedback and loyalty-related service issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years’ group, wholesale reservation experience in Room Reservations or Front Desk preferred.
  • One year of accounting/finance experience preferred.
