About The Position

Join GDIT as a Change Manager and build an impactful career in enterprise IT, collaborating with people who are driven and resourceful like you. As an Change Manager, you will play a crucial role in improving, managing and operating Medicare systems. You will provide materials to facilitate Module Change Control Board (MCCB) meetings, work closely with the Enterprise Change Control Manager, and ensure all stakeholders have supporting documentation prior to meetings for discussions (MCCB, ECCB, CAB). You will review all Change Requests (CRs) for completeness before CAB and ECCB meetings, agree to meet documented due dates and notify the Enterprise Change Manager prior to any delays, including due dates related to documentation submissions/review, as well as Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) due dates related to specific Change Requests. You will monitor and report on all CRs and ECRs for delays, impacts, risks, testability, traceability, and schedule changes and/or updates to the Enterprise CCM, communicate with impacted Module Contractors on ECRs, and follow up on open CRs to drive them to completion. Ensure requested changes align with the operational goals and objectives defined for the Module.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience as a Change Manager or Change Coordinator
  • Expert MS Project skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Expert/Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office products including Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or business administration. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Working knowledge of IT best practices and regulations, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and ITIL Change Management methodology.

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL certification preferred but not required
  • Prior Medicaid systems experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide materials to facilitate Module Change Control Board (MCCB) meetings
