About The Position

Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Project/Task Manager. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Project/Task Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will play a crucial role in providing accurate information on the procedures for managing the Service Catalog, develop policies and procedures in support of ITSM activities, review and provide comments for ITSM Division documentation, support meetings, and make recommendations to improve NETCOM’s ability to deliver IT services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • 8570.1-M certification: IAM Level I Certification, Computing Environment Certification and ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Lead/Manage/Support by providing technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or tasks.
  • Conduct planning and provides recommendations to the government customer on task workload.
  • Assist in the synchronization of requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project, identifying any issues in project meetings.
  • Coordinate the development of deliverables and products and ensuring quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the government customer across several levels of command, project Subject Matter Experts as well as cross-functional and multi-functional teams.
  • Drive the development and maintenance of the enterprise service catalog, the management of service-related change requests, and Change Control and Release Management activities in alignment with IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
  • Utilize your project management and technical knowledge to facilitate our government customer's mission.
