About The Position

The Chalet Concierge is a central part of the Mountain Activities team whose main objective is to provide exceptional service to our owners and guests by assisting with any requests, providing information about the Chalet’s amenities, shuttling, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay. During the winter season, this role focuses on supporting the Chalet Mountain Activities team through front desk reception and ski equipment and locker assignments for guests. At times they may assist guests with putting on or removing boots and skis.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Requires the ability to multi-task on several items at once.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, hotel operating systems and experience with Microsoft Suite, OPERA/Concierge Smart preferred.
• Knowledge of Vail and the surrounding communities.
• This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communication skills are a necessity.
• Fluency in English is required for this location, and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.
• Ability to speak Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest’s needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible and resolving customer complaints.
• Assists guests and residents in all inquiries in connection with resort services, hours of operations, key resort personnel, activations and directions.
• They will respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner, making recommendations based on local knowledge and resort practices.
• During winter season will assist with front desk reception and ski equipment and locker assignments for guests
• Provide information about the Chalet’s amenities and local attractions
• The Concierge may be responsible for assisting with Front Office or Bell Stand duties as needed.
• Ensures standards are being met, guest satisfaction is high and responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner
