About The Position

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is hiring four student workers for a summer microinternship to review an AI Literacy course. Student workers will experience the course as a student would and provide feedback to influence the final version of the course. This is a short-term, project-based position running July 13-16, 2026, from 1-4 PM each day. All four sessions must be attended. No background in AI is required, and reviewers from all majors and experience levels are encouraged. The work environment is collaborative and low-pressure, with CETL staff support.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled TCNJ student in good academic standing.
  • Interest in educational technology, artificial intelligence, or digital literacy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and provide constructive, specific feedback.
  • Punctuality and commitment to attending all scheduled sessions.
  • No prior AI experience required.
  • Laptop and earphones (can be provided if needed).

Responsibilities

  • Review a draft of course modules and complete all assigned activities as a learner would, noting points of confusion, gaps, or technical issues.
  • Provide written and verbal feedback on course content, navigation, clarity, and overall learner experience.
  • Participate in structured debrief sessions each day to discuss findings as a team.
  • Complete feedback forms, reflection prompts, or surveys provided by CETL staff.
  • Collaborate respectfully with fellow student workers and CETL staff throughout the project.
  • When needed, create digital assets such as images or videos for inclusion in the modules.
