About The Position

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is hiring four student workers this summer to serve as reviewers of an AI Literacy course. Your job is to experience the course the way a student would, and tell us what works, what is confusing, and what could be improved. Your feedback will directly influence the final version of a course that will reach students across campus in the coming academic year. This is a short-term, project-based position running July 13-16, 2026 1–4 PM each day. Student workers must be available for all six sessions (if illness arises, we'll work with you). No background in AI is required. Reviewers from all majors and experience levels are encouraged. You will work as a small team alongside CETL staff in a collaborative, low-pressure environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled TCNJ student in good academic standing.
  • Interest in educational technology, artificial intelligence, or digital literacy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and provide constructive, specific feedback.
  • Punctuality and commitment to attending all scheduled sessions.
  • No prior AI experience required.
  • Diverse perspectives are welcome and encouraged.
  • Laptop and earphones. If you do not have a laptop or earphones, these can be provided for you.

Responsibilities

  • Review a draft of course modules and complete all assigned activities as a learner would, noting points of confusion, gaps, or technical issues.
  • Provide written and verbal feedback on course content, navigation, clarity, and overall learner experience.
  • Participate in structured debrief sessions each day to discuss findings as a team.
  • Complete feedback forms, reflection prompts, or surveys provided by CETL staff.
  • Collaborate respectfully with fellow student workers and CETL staff throughout the project.
  • When needed, create digital assets such as images or videos for inclusion in the modules.
