Certified Welder Fabricator / Hydraulic Technician
About The Position
Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certified Welder/Fabricator/Hydraulic Technician to join their team. This role involves working on heavy construction and forestry equipment, performing all phases of welding and fabricating, and fabricating/installing hydraulic lines and attachments. The position is based in Mt. Vernon, WA.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in all phases of welding and fabrication.
- Mechanical aptitude/experience and a 2-year Diesel Technology or Welding degree will also be considered.
- Ability to read blueprints preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Self-motivation.
- Ability to work under little or no supervision.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems.
- Must have own tools.

Responsibilities
- Perform all phases of welding and fabricating including air arc, wire feed, stick, acetylene, brazing, and fabrication skills on heavy construction and forestry equipment.
- Fabricate and install hydraulic lines and attachments.
- Test hydraulic components.
- Perform welding and customization of equipment as needed.
