Requirements
- Proven experience and certification in transmission diagnostics and repair.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a State Inspection License.
- A commitment to transparency and doing the job right the first time.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a high-performance team.
- High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of specialized training and experience.
Responsibilities
- Expertly examine and diagnose complex transmission and drivetrain issues.
- Coordinate with the Shop Foreman and Service Advisors to plan workflows and provide accurate labor estimates.
- Keep the service team updated on repair timelines and any additional maintenance needs discovered during teardown.
- Assist in the training of technician trainees.
- Stay ahead of the curve by attending factory training and keeping current with technical bulletins.
- Maintain thorough repair stories and documentation while strictly adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
