About The Position

BrightPath Kids is hiring a Certified Toddler Teacher at its Quincy, Massachusetts center. The teacher works alongside other teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home environment for children in the center’s care, following NAEYC guidelines. The role includes overseeing programs and activities in multiple classrooms, mentoring Teachers and Assistant Teachers, developing and curating developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and partnering with families to support children’s care and education. The position is full-time, pays $21.00–$30.00, and does not require evening or weekend work.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or Massachusetts EEC Teacher certification.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
• Mentor Teachers and Assistant Teachers within the centers.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Partner with families to create plans that provide appropriate care and education for their children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
