About The Position

BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time Certified Toddler Teacher at its Medway, Massachusetts center. The teacher works alongside other teachers and families to provide children with a home-away-from-home experience in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role includes overseeing programs and activities across multiple classrooms, mentoring Teachers and Assistant Teachers, creating developmentally appropriate curricula and activities, and partnering with families to support children’s care and education. The teacher also communicates effectively with parents and guardians about their children.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or Massachusetts EEC Teacher certification.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of experience in a licensed child care facility (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
• Mentor Teachers and Assistant Teachers within the centers.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Develop programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Partner with families to create plans that provide appropriate care and education for their children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
