About The Position

Dolan Auto Group is hiring a Certified Technician to perform automotive repairs and service according to store and factory standards. The technician diagnoses and resolves different sources of automotive problems swiftly and accurately, and works with Service personnel and management to support customer satisfaction. The role includes a range of light-duty and heavy-duty repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics. This position is based in Fernley, Nevada, and is full-time.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Must submit to pre-employment screening for controlled substances, as this position has been identified as affecting public safety under Nevada Assembly Bill 132.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to perform repetitive physical movements, including squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast-paced walking, and light jogging when necessary.
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to work with exposure to weather and potentially extreme temperature ranges.

Responsibilities

Replace brake pads and rotors.
Perform minor repairs and replace parts.
Perform tune-ups and replace spark plugs.
Replace transmission, brake, power steering, and rear differential fluids.
Diagnose vehicle problems, including check-engine lights and noises during operation.
Perform light-duty and heavy-duty repairs.
Perform engine diagnostics and repairs.
Work with Service personnel and management to support customer satisfaction and follow store and factory standards.
