Certified Surgical Technologist - Per Diem - Faulkner
About The Position
The Certified Surgical Technologist works in the operating room at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, preparing and maintaining the operating room environment and assisting with patients’ peri-operative care. The role works closely with surgeons and nurses to support smooth, efficient operating room operations. It requires a strong understanding of sterile techniques and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. The hospital describes its environment as fast-paced, energetic, collaborative, and innovative. The role is offered on a per-diem basis and is onsite in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Surgical Technician certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Submit proof of graduation from an ARC/STSA-accredited Surgical Technology Program.
- Basic computer skills.
- Adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards.
Nice To Haves
- One year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
- NBSTSA certification, conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
