About The Position
Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is hiring a Surgical Technologist to work onsite at its 16-operating-room facility. The role functions as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures and participates in ongoing educational and competency activities. The technologist also precepts staff—including surgical technicians, nurses, and students—in surgical technician job duties. The position is scheduled for 36 hours per week on a rotating shift. The hospital reports approximately 1,000 cases per month and notes its Magnet Designation with Distinction and use of Black Box technology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Surgical Technician Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Submit Certification of Graduation from an ARC/STSA-accredited Surgical Technology Program.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
