About The Position
The Certified Surgical Technologist works onsite at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital and functions as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures. The role includes participating in ongoing educational and competency activities and precepting staff on surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses, and students. The position is scheduled for 36 hours per week on a rotating shift. The hospital has 16 operating rooms and handles approximately 1,000 cases per month. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is advertised.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Surgical Technician Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Submit Certification of Graduation from an ARC/STSA-accredited Surgical Technology Program.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
Responsibilities
