About The Position
Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a PRN Certified Surgical Technologist for its multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk. The position supports United Surgical Partners International’s mission, vision, and facility goals, and establishes effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors. The Certified Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and works with leadership to meet facility safety, quality, customer service, and financial goals. The center is an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International, which develops and operates ambulatory surgical facilities in the U.S. and the UK. The organization emphasizes safety, quality, and an excellent patient experience.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
- Independent decision-making skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
- Ability to communicate with patients, employees, and medical staff.
